MARCH VIA INSTAGRAM

Despite my lack of blogposts recently I am in fact still alive and well. March was such an exciting and happy month. It was filled with one-on-one time with all of the people I love as well as a spot of travel and a lot of cake. I thought I'd use my Instagram posts (@emmakatehall) to give a quick visual overview of what I got up to this month.

// I kicked off March by visiting Copenhagen with my best friends to celebrate us all turning 21. We did a fabulous walking tour which showed us all of the beautiful buildings around the city.

// Temporarily suffered from a soppy spell in which I missed my wonderful boyfriend, Rory

// Nyavn harbour was one of my favourite places in Copenhagen. It's full of colourful buildings even if the weather was a bit grey

// I celebrated International Women's Day on my Instagram by congratulating all the women I know doing cool things, particularly those who I don't tell enough how in awe I am of them

// My beautiful younger sister visited me in London. I feel like I am constantly laughing when I'm around her and it breaks my heart whenever she leaves after a visit. We went to see Matilda (the musical) and got a whimsical ice cream from Milk Train in Covent Garden

// I used my Lee Stafford chopstick curling wand to make myself look like a poodle and wore my new furry sleeved sweatshirt from Zara

// Some of the delicious treats at Maltby Market. I resisted getting anything but Isobel had a delicious chocolate eclair

// Dreaming about Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen whilst on my way to a lecture on Early Modern Literature

// A rare photo with my lovely flatmate Olivia before drinking many vodka cranberries and dancing the night away to Ignition

// A trip home means I can use the KitchenAid to make an Oreo cheesecake. I made one like this for Christmas and promised to save a slice for Rory. My mum unfortunately dropped it on floor however and I have been promising to make him another ever since.

// A cheeky selfie in the sunshine and one of my favourites of my dad's old t-shirts

// I came home after a stressful day to find these on my doorstep. A couple of days previously I had tweeted (@EmmaKateHall) begging someone to bring me a red velvet cupcake as I was craving them so much. Rory surprised me by ordering some from the Hummingbird Bakery. He is a star and I don't know what I did to deserve him
