Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask Review

First things first, massive apologies for slacking off on the posts this week. I’m hoping that 3 days out of 31 can be forgiven? Sometimes graduations, birthdays, work and exhaustion from all of the above just get in the way. Hopefully now I should be back on track and posting something new every day for the rest of July.

Today I wanted to talk about a skincare product that I’ve never really heard much about. It doesn’t seem to get as much hype as it’s cleansing counterpart, and I’m not sure that that’s fair. I purchased Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask alongside my first order of the Cleanse and Polish. I liked the sound of it and decided I might as well give it a go. If a product is marketed as brightening, you can be 99% sure I’ll be persuaded to buy it.

Unlike traditional masks, you leave this on the face for only 30 seconds – 2 minutes. I love using it in the mornings because it’s so quick but still feels a bit more luxurious than my average routine. On application, it’s normal to feel a slight tingling sensation and, despite having sensitive skin, I’ve never experienced any adverse effects.

It breaks my heart a little that this quick-fix mask doesn’t get the love it deserves. I’m not sure that I’ve necessarily noticed any changes long-term but I can definitely see a difference in my skin on the days I use it. It leaves it feeling super smooth and somehow more even in tone. I can’t always put my finger on what’s changed, all I know is that I’m having a good skin day. It somehow just looks better overall. So far I’ve been very impressed by Liz Earle. After trying both this and the Cleanse and Polish, I’m excited to give some more of their products a go.

  1. I haven't tried anything by Liz Earle for such a long time, I am going to have to invest!

  3. I adore Liz Earle, and have the cleanser and the face spritz. I never do face masks because I always convince myself that I don't have the time (totally untrue, I'm just lazy haha!) - so this actually sounds perfect!
