Gift Guide: The Travel Lover

1 // SUITCASE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION
Suitcase magazines are always pieces of art. The photography is beautiful and the writing is beautiful. They provide city guides, photo journals and articles all concerned with travel. They also look gorgeous sitting on a coffee table. Each issue has a different theme such as 'boundaries', 'the wild' and 'myths and legends'. Subscriptions like these make wonderful presents. Beautiful print magazines liek this are little luxuries you may not buy for yourself and they provide you with a years worth of little surprises.

2 // YOU'VE GOT THAT STAR POWER BANK
Perfect for anyone on the go, this power bank will mean you're never stuck somewhere without your phone. This is super useful if you're travelling around a lot and don't always have a plug on hand to charge your electronics. It's also pretty cute.

3 // ENDLESS SUMMER PASSPORT CASE
Make sure your adventurous friend is travelling in style with a funky passport case. I love the colours on this one from Band.do but there are lots of lovely ones on the market to suit all sorts of tastes.

4 // THE NEW YORK TIMES 36 HOURS, 125 WEEKENDS IN EUROPE
I actually got this book one year for Christmas and absolutely loved it. It's given me lots of ideas for places to eat, visit and shop whenever I'm visiting a new city. They also do other editions such as 'USA & Canada', 'Latin America and the Caribbean', 'London & Beyond' and 'New York and Beyond'. Again, this also makes a lovely coffee table book.

5 // ANTHROPOLOGIE ADA NOTEBOOK
A lovely little notebook for recording all their travels. They can plan their next big trip or use it to journal about all of their adventures abroad.

6 // THE 500 HIDDEN SECRETS OF NEW YORK
These are a great idea if you know that someone has a trip booked for a certain city or even if they're moving there. They have loads of ideas on where to visit, what to do, where to eat and where to shop. As the name suggests these books focus on things a little off the beaten track, so are great for people who really want to get to know a city. New York is not the only city available. They also publish books on Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bangkok, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Ghent, Havana, Lisbon, London, LA, Madrid, Miami, New York, Paris, Prague, Rome and Rotterdam. Wow, that was a mouthful. I think this would be a lovely way to surprise your loved one with a weekend away.

7 // THIRSTY AF WATER BOTTLE
Water bottles are always great when you're on the go and save you from having to spend loads on bottled water. It's also a super cute design and better for the environment, so a winner all round.
